Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Jinny AI mobile application and related services (the “Assistant” or “Jinny”), operated by Flux Labs AI Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered office at M-202 Pioneer Park, Sector 61, Gurugram, Haryana 122001 (“we”, “us”, “our”, or the “Company”).
Please read these Terms and our Privacy Policy carefully. By tapping “I Accept” during onboarding, you enter into a legally binding contract with us under Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 read with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and you agree not to dispute the validity of these Terms merely because they were concluded electronically. If you do not agree, do not use Jinny.
1. What Jinny is
Jinny is a personal AI voice assistant that answers incoming calls on your behalf, screens unknown callers, takes messages, generates summaries and transcripts, and — on your specific instruction — places outbound calls and navigates automated phone systems. Jinny is intended for personal use within India, on Android and iOS devices.
Jinny acts solely as your agent. Everything Jinny says or does on a call is governed by the instructions, preferences, and permissions you configure. Jinny does not take autonomous actions outside your configuration. Jinny automatically identifies itself as an AI assistant when interacting with humans on calls, never claims to be a human being, and never impersonates you.
2. Eligibility and your account
- (a) You must be at least 18 years of age and competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
- (b) You must register with current, complete, and accurate information and keep it updated. If any information you provide is untrue, inaccurate, or incomplete — or we have reasonable grounds to suspect it is — we may suspend or terminate your account.
- (c) You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and account, and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- (d) We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable right to use Jinny for lawful personal purposes, through the interfaces we provide and in accordance with these Terms.
- (e) Google Play. Jinny is distributed through Google Play. Your download and use of the app are additionally subject to the Google Play Terms of Service and applicable Google policies, and nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under them.
3. AI functionality — what you must understand
- (a) AI outputs can be wrong. Jinny uses AI models to interpret calls and generate responses, summaries, and labels. These may misinterpret a caller’s intent, tone, or context, contain errors, or lead to unintended outcomes. You are responsible for reviewing Jinny’s outputs before relying or acting on them. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of any AI-generated output.
- (b) Jinny does not verify callers. Jinny does not authenticate the identity, legitimacy, or intent of any caller. Spam and fraud labels are probabilistic signals, not verified determinations, and must not be treated as conclusive. You assume the risk of interactions with callers, and you should independently verify any important information before acting on it.
- (c) Your instructions drive disclosures. Information Jinny shares on a call is drawn from what you have configured or authorised. You are responsible for the instructions you give and for exercising caution about the personal or sensitive information you make available to Jinny for use on calls.
- (d) Not for emergencies. Jinny is not designed for emergency use. Do not rely on Jinny to make, receive, or handle emergency calls (e.g., 112). Always contact emergency services directly.
- (e) Availability. Calls may be missed, dropped, or mishandled due to network conditions, device settings, OS-level restrictions, or third-party service outages. Jinny is a convenience layer, not a guaranteed telephony service.
- (f) AI disclosure. Jinny automatically identifies itself as an AI assistant when interacting with a human on a call. Where Jinny interacts solely with automated systems (such as IVR menus), no announcement is made. Jinny will always truthfully confirm that it is an AI if asked, and will never claim to be a human being or impersonate you.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use Jinny only for lawful purposes. You must not use Jinny — including its outbound calling capability — to:
- (a) harass, intimidate, threaten, stalk, or defraud any person, or place unlawful, deceptive, or nuisance calls;
- (b) impersonate any person, misrepresent facts to callers or call recipients, or attempt to disable, suppress, or circumvent Jinny’s AI self-disclosure;
- (c) phish, manipulate, or trick any person into revealing sensitive information such as OTPs, passwords, or financial details;
- (d) conduct telemarketing, promotional, or bulk/automated calling of any kind;
- (e) configure Jinny to generate responses that are obscene, hateful, defamatory, discriminatory, harmful to children, or that promote unlawful activity, or that violate the categories set out in Rule 3(1)(b) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, or that threaten the unity, integrity, defence, security, or sovereignty of India or public order;
- (f) reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or access Jinny through bots, scripts, or any means other than the interfaces we provide, or interfere with the security, integrity, or performance of our systems or other users’ use of the service; or
- (g) misuse spam/fraud reporting to falsely flag any number.
We may suspend or terminate accounts engaged in any of the above and, where required, report unlawful activity to authorities.
5. Fees
Jinny is currently offered free of charge. We may introduce paid features or subscription plans in the future; if we do, pricing and payment terms will be displayed before any purchase, these Terms will be updated, and your fresh acceptance will be obtained. You will never be charged without your explicit authorisation.
6. Intellectual property and feedback
All intellectual property in Jinny — including software, models’ configurations, designs, content, and the “Jinny AI” name and marks — belongs to the Company or its licensors. No rights are granted except the limited licence in Section 2(d). Your call recordings, transcripts, and summaries remain your data, handled per the Privacy Policy. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve the service without restriction or compensation, though any personal data within them will be handled per the Privacy Policy.
7. Privacy
Our collection and processing of personal data — yours and that of callers Jinny interacts with — is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. In case of conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy on a data protection matter, the Privacy Policy prevails.
8. Termination
You may stop using Jinny and delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your access, with notice where practicable, if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us or other users, or where required by law. Sections 3, 4, 6, 9, 10, and 11 survive termination. Data deletion on account closure is governed by the Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
Jinny is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that Jinny will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that it will handle every call correctly. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights you have under Indian law that cannot be contractually excluded.
10. Limitation of liability and indemnity
- (a) To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, business, or data, arising from your use of or inability to use Jinny — including outcomes of calls handled by Jinny in accordance with your configuration, such as missed calls, declined calls, miscommunications, or disclosures resulting from your instructions.
- (b) To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for all claims arising out of these Terms or the service shall not exceed the fees paid by you to us in the 3 (three) months preceding the claim.
- (c) Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
- (d) You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its directors, employees, and agents from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your unlawful use of Jinny, or your violation of any third party’s rights.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of Jinny.

13. Miscellaneous
- (a) Amendments. We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app and/or your registered contact details, and your acceptance will be required to continue using Jinny after such changes.
- (b) Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the successor honouring commitments no less protective than these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
